Jaqueline da Luz Ferreira

Bachelor in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro – UFRJ and a Master degree on Social Sciences at the Graduate Program in Social Sciences in Development, Agriculture and Society, Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro – CPDA / UFRRJ. She served as guest researcher and scholar of the Polytechnic School of Health Joaquim Venancio, a unit of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation – EPSJV / Fiocruz, researching projects on health in territories of land reform and participated in the coordination of environmental health courses and technical courses in environment geared for the rural population in this institution. She is currently a doctoral student in the Graduate Program in Social Sciences in Development, Agriculture and Society, Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro – CPDA / UFRRJ. She has been devoted, from a sociological approach to issues such as: public policies for family farming, rural social movements, associations and networks of solidarity in the countryside, rural education and rural extension.
